We made it official: RockLogic GmbH has received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, issued by Tempo Audit, a certification body accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service). A significant milestone that delivers real, tangible value to our clients and partners.
Why ISO 27001?
Information security cannot be deferred, especially not when you operate IT infrastructure and run Ethereum validator nodes where uptime, integrity, and confidentiality are non-negotiable.
ISO/IEC 27001 is the internationally recognised gold standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It gives us a structured, auditable framework to systematically identify, assess, and treat information security risks. For us, this certification was not a box-ticking exercise. It was the natural next step in documenting what we already practice: deliberate, professional, and continuous security management.

What the certification covers
A UKAS-accredited certificate is not a self-declaration. It means an independent auditor, Tempo Audit, has reviewed our processes, controls, and documentation and confirmed they meet the standard. That includes:

What this means for our services
We run IT infrastructure and Ethereum staking nodes for clients who depend on availability, integrity, and confidentiality. With ISO 27001 certification, we have independently demonstrated that we protect client data to internationally recognised standards, manage risks proactively before they become incidents, and provide clients and partners with a transparent, auditable record of our security posture.
In the Ethereum staking space, where we are responsible for validator infrastructure and on-chain assets, this is a baseline requirement for professional operations.
Raising the bar for our Stereum ecosystem
ISO 27001 extends beyond our internal operations to the products and services we build. That includes our full Stereum ecosystem, which has now been brought to a new level of professional maturity.
Stereum Launcher
Stereum Launcher is our flagship open-source project, developed since 2020 and winner of the Austrian Blockchain Award 2021. It is a free Ethereum node setup and management tool that lets anyone run their own Ethereum node without command-line expertise. Install it on Windows, macOS, or Linux, connect it to a server of your choice, and deploy your node through a guided UI in a few steps. Stereum Launcher supports all major Ethereum clients including Geth, Erigon, Nethermind, Prysm, Lighthouse, Teku, and Nimbus, as well as protocols like Lido CSM, SSV Network, and MEV Boost.
StereumPlus
StereumPlus is our hosted infrastructure service, operated by Stereum Services FlexCo, a dedicated sister company founded in 2024. It is a Web3-friendly cloud server platform offering enterprise-grade hardware, certified datacenters, high uptime guarantees, and full root access for node operators who want reliable Ethereum infrastructure without managing physical hardware.
StereumLabs
StereumLabs is our independent Ethereum client analytics platform, providing objective and reproducible benchmarks across clients, configurations, and environments. Running execution and consensus clients in fully isolated environments on Ethereum mainnet, StereumLabs collects detailed system metrics including CPU, memory, IOPS, storage, network, and sync behaviour, making them available for comparison across clients and versions. The platform serves node operators, stakers, staking protocols, researchers, and client teams. StereumLabs is supported by a grant from the Ethereum Foundation and partnered with MigaLabs.
Together, Stereum Launcher, StereumPlus, and StereumLabs form a complete professional stack: from open-source node management, to hosted infrastructure, to independent analytics. ISO 27001 certification means this entire ecosystem is now backed by a security management system that has been independently verified and internationally recognised.
Why UKAS accreditation matters
Not all ISO certificates carry the same weight. UKAS is the United Kingdom's national accreditation body and a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), making our certificate globally recognised and mutually accepted across over 100 countries. Our clients do not have to take our word for it. They have independent, internationally valid confirmation that our information security management meets the highest standards.
A milestone, not a finish line
ISO 27001 is not a trophy you put on a shelf. The certification requires annual surveillance audits and a full recertification every three years. That keeps us accountable and ensures our security standards grow alongside our services.
